THAT BRING YOUR BRAND TO LIFE

I create powerfully engaging imagery for female entrepreneurs, celebrities and well-known brands so they can boost their ongoing marketing efforts and draw their audience in.

Santa Barbara Engagement Session

Not only is this my favorite time of the year because it’s holiday season, but also because it is engagement season! I love to see the posts and updates on social media of people getting engaged, celebrating and making their announcements! During this time of I’m talking to my 2015 couples about their engagement sessions as well. I love engagement sessions, I could shoot one every day. Getting the chance to get to know my couple better and getting comfortable with each other is so important to me!! On the wedding day, of all the vendors you pick, you will be spending most of your time with the photographer. You should be able to trust them. It makes for a better and memorable day. Annnnd how much better is it when it is someone you feel you could have been friends with forever ago.

Earlier in the year, I went to a photographer’s conference in Santa Barbara, which is where this beautiful engagement shoot came together. The conference was great, I walked away with so much more then I thought I would, it was not just about business and working on my craft and although, I gained so much in those areas, I love that I was able to meet some really great people in this business who have become friends. Some of the girls I roomed with and I put together this engagement shoot to work on posing and connecting with our clients. I have to say, I fell in love with the entire look of the shoot! Engagement shoots should be FUN! There should not be any pressure to make it something you feel it HAS to be. Only what you want it to be! With every session I try my best to help couples realize that they are on their path to marriage because they love each other and, “today on your engagement shoot that is all you have to do, love each other.”

A special thanks to Susanne from Susanne Ashby Photography for working on getting us this AWESOME VW for the shoot. Also, a BIG thank you to the talented Tracey Morris, the florist of Ella & Louie in Santa Barbara, who did a fantastic job with the flower crown and bouquet. Last, I’m so thankful to our gorgeous models, Macy West and Tim Robinson, who without we would not have been able to do this shoot.
