I enjoy photographing weddings for so many reasons, but once in a while when I get contacted to photograph a different type of wedding ceremony it’s exciting! Lorenza and Rich’s love story proves when people are meant to be together it all works out. Years ago Lorenza, who is from Rome, Italy studied abroad for a semester in San Diego and thanks to her roommate she met Rich during a trip to Los Angeles. When the semester was over she had to move back to Rome. Even though they were so far from each other they found a way to have a long distance relationship for almost 2 years. Then on January 2015 she moved back to California for work and most importantly to be with Rich. After a few months they moved in together and he proposed on their two year anniversary in Miami! Because their wedding was planned last minute I did not meet them until the day of their ceremony. I will say, within minutes of meeting them I quickly realized how in love they are. Next year they will be having two weddings in two different countries. How perfect, right?! What girl doesn’t want that?! I’m so thankful I met them and could not be happier for them as they start this new amazing adventure called marriage!

Lorenza’s parents could not come for the ceremony, so they watched on Skype from Rome. It was so emotional… I cried as she talked to them (of course I did, ha!) Lorenza you are gorgeous! Rich is a lucky man. 😉
