Jen and I had been trying to plan a session since 2015. They had just had their baby, Ayla and just moved from the east coast to Los Angeles. We emailed and tried, and then tried again. After about a year of trying, we finally got a date on the books! We never met in person till the shoot, but I already felt like I knew Jen. I felt like we were long time friends, plus we both named our daughters Ayla. 🙂  When we met they told me they had a bad night. Little Ayla just didn’t sleep well and they were running on 2 hours sleep. They even thought about cancelling, but once we got started I was so glad they didn’t!  I look at these photos and don’t see tired parents. I see a HAPPY family! As parents we LEARN to put our game face on all the time for our kids. We will always for their sake find a way to pull it together and make them feel happy.  The best part, Ayla, even on little sleep, was a doll! I just loved her little personality. Jen, you and Ilan are troopers and blessed to have such a sweet little girl on your hands! I’m so thankful we finally made the session happen and glad I was able to capture these memories for you guys! XO!
