I’ve known Colby since our college days, but to know Colby now as a guy in love with Kelly is quite sweet to witness. At our first meeting, Colby told me he instantly had a thing for Kelly. They met at a mutual friend’s BBQ. He said, I still remember perfectly, she walked in with her cute little white dress and Ray-Ban sunglasses. She remembered he had a pink shirt and Coach loafers on… yes at a BBQ. HA! He actually didn’t get a chance to get her number that night, but a couple days later they connected on Facebook. 🙂 Thank God for social media! My favorite thing about these two is how they laugh together! They have so much fun doing anything and everything as long as they are together. During the engagement session, I loved how Colby made sure his girl was comfortable and happy. They chose Balboa Island for the shoot because they spend a lot of time there in the summers with Colby’s family and it was actually where Colby asked Kelly to be his girlfriend… see, they are just adorable together! I’m so honored they chose me to document their love story and I can’t wait till their wedding day this summer!
